We were able to visit the Guangzhou Zoo this morning. It was great! Guang Dong Fu chatted and chatted with Elvin. It was hilarious! He has Elvin in stiches. This child is witty and smart! He would chat about the animals and make remarks that would blow you away, we have much of it on video, it will be a treasure to look back at some day. Pictures to come!
We have the afternoon free. Dong Fu is sooooo tired! I think all the stimulation just wipes him out! We plan on napping and hanging out in the room for the day! We have his TB and doctors appointment tomorrow (Friday) in the morning. We have made some slight changes to the schedule, this should have been on Saturday.
Amazing doors have opened while here. Brett will be doing amazing things in the afternoon on Friday, I will hang out with Dong Fu at the hotel. We will blog on this adventure next week. God will knock you socks off with this one!!!!
Thanks for all of you comments and prayers! You are all a treasure to me. Continue to pray for the time to go by quickly for the kids. Ask God to quicken Dong Fu's English. He is such a communicator, that when we leave China, he is really going to miss having conversations with people who can understand and be engaged with him in conversation. He LOVE to TALK! Lei, he is going to LOVE you and he is going to love to chat with you! Continue to pray for his little heart. He has sooo much to work through. When I lay by him and think about his life up until now, I just weep! But I know that God has HUGE plans for this little boy. He is going to blow you away! And continue to praise the Amighty Father for the work that He has done, and will continue to do through our child.
Oh Brett & Kristy!
ReplyDeleteI'm so thankful that you are able to blog about this whole experience! It is so AMAZING! I have already shed many tears of joy for your new family. Will keep praying here...
Much Love!

Kristy & Brett,
ReplyDeleteI have just read through all your blogs. It sounds like you guys are having a great time. I'm so happy for you guys, especially Dong Fu. I'm glad you three have had such a strong connection in such a short amount of time. Dong Fu is so lucky to be welcomed into such a loving, strong, and spiritual family. I'm excited to hear he's so talkative and full of life, he will fit in with the Weis and Hatch family well :) I can't wait to meet him! I pray you enjoy your remaining days in China and make it home to us safely. I'm also keeping the girls and Zach in my prayers because I'm sure they are anxious to meet their new brother and missing you guys.
I love you both, and truely admire you and your strengths. I know it's been a long year for your entire family, and I'm so happy it has worked out for you.
Hope to see you soon!
Love,
Chari
