Possible Travel Date!!!!

We have a possible travel date of February 8/9 or 11/12.  Our agency is waiting on our child's visa appointments.  I was completly shocked by the dates, because I was under the impression that during the Chinese New Year, we would not travel.  There will be three other families that will be traveling with us.  Yeah!!!!
